    KERMIT FRAZIER

    Kermit is a prolific playwright, television writer, and Professor Emeritus at Adelphi University, with a substantial body of work produced at theaters nationwide, and his accomplishments were highlighted in a full-page New York Times article in June 2020.

  • JEANETTE HILL

    Jeanette W. Hill is a multiple-award winning playwright. The founder and director of JWHill Productions LLC, Jeanette creates stories about real life, the way Black people live it.  She is also an advisory board member for the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival.  A member of The Dramatists Guild and the New Play Exchange. She’s served as a peer reviewer for Mid-America Arts Alliance, Austin Cultural Arts Program and the American Association of Community Theatre.

Beginning Playwriting

For aspiring students embarking on their playwriting journey, we offer a foundational class focused on the playwriting process, the components of dramatic structure, effective dialogue, dramatic action, developing a character, and encouraging students to write fearlessly. The goal of this workshop is for the student to gain an understanding of the playwriting process.

Classes are typically held on Zoom. The yearly tuition fee for two semesters is $425, with the choice to pay upfront or divide the payment into three installments.
