I’m an actress and teacher with a diverse background that spans healthcare and the performing arts. Coupling this dynamic range of talent and interests with over 10 years of teaching, I’ve found I’m at my best when I’m pursuing my personal passions and strengths while in service to my community–advancing learning, innovation, and impact for my students within and beyond the classroom.
As an educator and actress, I always do my best to lead by example and reach beyond my own comfort zone. I endeavor to go beyond the minimum requirements of my job as an administrative coordinator for Upward Bound. Whether I was producing showcases or orchestrating trips for my students at public, private, and charter schools in New York City, I strove to provide inner city youth with the same type of educational experience I had as a child. In my classroom environment, I infuse arts and maintain high standards to cultivate healthy, holistic youth of character. After teaching for many years in NYC, and subsequently, California, I moved to Florida in 2010, where I currently work in higher education.
Beyond my role as an educator, I act for the Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).
