Dwayne Grayman

In 1976, at age 19, Dwayne Grayman was the first tenor with the Martin Luther King Jr. Male Glee Club in Harlem.  According to the NY Times, he hoped that the four years spent with the group meant a professional grounding for a singing career.

His resume shows 12 credits as a session singer on records, recording with Melba Moore, The Stylistics, Les Paul Roque, and others between1983 and 2007.  He appears as a gospel singer in an episode of Mr. Show with Bob and David, a 1995 TV Series.  According to his IMDb bio, he “acted in Clarke Peters’ musical, “Five Guys Named Moe,” at the Cape Playhouse in Dennis, Massachusetts with Dwayne Grayman, Derrick McGinty, Jesse Means JI, John Eric Parker, and Dennis Stowe in the cast.”
